1. Overview
Casherang (“we”, “us”) is building a cashback-to-income experience. This page describes the kinds of information a production service would collect and how it would be used. This rebuild is currently a UI demo with mock data — no production backend is wired yet.
2. Information we may collect
When the product is live, we may collect:
- Account details — name, email, phone, password credentials.
- Financial preferences — income mode (Payout or Drip), linked bank metadata (not full account numbers in demo).
- Transaction signals — cashback events, fund activity, referrals.
- Device & usage — browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, crash logs.
3. How we use information
We would use information to:
- Operate accounts, cashback tracking, and fund features
- Process payouts or drip reinvestments you choose
- Send product, security, and (if opted in) marketing messages
- Detect fraud, abuse, and technical issues
- Improve the product and measure performance
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. In a live service we may share data with processors who help us run banking rails, identity checks, email, analytics, or cloud hosting — under contracts that limit use. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Retention & security
We would retain account and transaction records as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures; no method of transmission is 100% secure.
6. Your choices
You can update profile details in Settings (mock today), opt out of marketing, and request access or deletion when real support channels exist. Cookie preferences are described on our Cookies page.
